Long Overdue Update

Life with the girls has been good. They are nearly 9 weeks old and are eating well and sleeping like champs. They go to bed around 1am and sleep for 3-5 hours before waking up to eat. It's been wonderful. Every once in a while one of them will hit a growth spurt and wake every hour or so. During the day, they go for 1.5-2.5 hours between meals.

Both girls like traveling in their car seats. We've had them in the car for as long as 3 hours at a time and they sleep the whole time. They like going new places.

Alenni is still our snuggle-bug. She loves to be cuddled and squeezed. Loves being talked to. She loves to laugh and smile. She sleeps more than Willow does and prefers to have a pacifier most of the time. Alenni is almost always happy but will get very upset if her diaper is soiled. She enjoys playing with things that dangle, being tickled, meeting new people, and ceiling fans.

Willow is more emotional than Alenni. Her mood changes frequently. She cries and laughs harder and more often than Alenni. She is gluttonous when it comes to milk and will over-eat given the opportunity. She loves staring out the window, ceiling fans, and being tickled about the chin. She also enjoys kicking and playing and can do so for an hour or so at a time. She gets bored easily and prefers to be on the move whenever possible.
